Why are you gunning me down, I'm just having a look around?
This happened a few weeks back. It's quite a funny story and thought I would share it with you.
I like to garage sale. I go looking for treasures to add to my sculptures. Antiques, old rope, sea glass, you never know what you'll find...you know stuff you just can't go out and buy.
I came up to a garage sale that looked loaded with good items. Lots of treasures lined up on either side of the driveway. An old lady sitting in the middle of the driveway, in a lawn chair, turned and looked at me as I crossed the street. I entered the area browsing and touching items. Another lady, man and teenager started gunning me down. Staring to the point of me be uncomfortable. I think to myself "what is their problem? maybe I should start a conversation". So I ask, "how much for the table?" The man pipes up, with an attitude, "It's not for sale". "Oh" I say, confused, "This is a garage sale".
"No it isn't", the man barks, "we are just cleaning out our garage!"
