To My Surprise...Taking Over The Show
Last week I entered an art festival. It was my first COMING OUT showing. Now I was a bit nervous about how the sculptures would be welcomed. (I guess I'm my own worst critic). Everyone one was amazed to say the least. I became bashful. I just didn't know how to consume this overwhelming attention!
The show made all the local papers! The author couldn't say enough about my pieces! Of course, half of me, was super happy that I took over the article, but the other half of me, felt sorry that the other artists didn't get the recognition they deserved!! The competition was really stiff!
Here's the article...
"Art is a personal thing. When you invest in a piece of art, you buy a piece of that artist. The artist knows every curve, every stroke, every tiny detail in the creation of each piece. Each creation puts a personal intimate part of that artist on display for the whole world to see"
