Come Support Me at The ETA Awards! As the ETA awards narrow in on 2 weeks away, there have been many things that I need to prepare for. Being the Awards are in downtown, congested, wall to wall trafic Toronto, much preparation regarding transportation of my work, hotel rooms, costumes, and many other details need to be addressed. I've rented a pretty big uhaul to transport my art. This seems all fine and dandy until you start thinking about details. Such as, where the f*** do you park the thing when the gala is going on. It's hard enough to find a space for a car, can you imagine a 26 foot truck? Super stressing about that one!! Plus where do you unload such a big payload at the venue?? Is there loading docks? Large enough doors for my work? And not to mention, how to secure the sculptures in the cabin so they won't get damaged. All to be worked out on location I guess!! STRESSING!! Now the gala is super hero themed! The artists are to be dressed up like super heroes (which we are) lol. I've decided not to go with a traditional superhero costume but to vary from the norm. If anyone knows me, I'm an ARMY GIRL! Who is more than deserving of the title SUPER HERO than a member of the army? A REAL LIFE SUPERHERO! Everyone has been asking me if I've made the final 3 for THRIVING ARTIST. Answer is... I don't know. Nothing has been posted on the status. And to be honest with you, it's been driving me crazy!!! So if your looking for something to do OCTOBER 21st. Come join me and my newly found friends for an evening of superheroes and art. And if I make the final 3 for Thriving Artist, you may join in for a LIVE VOTE, to help me try to secure the title!! You may purchase tickets here: http://www.emergingtorontoartists.com/tickets

Author"Art is a personal thing. When you invest in a piece of art, you buy a piece of that artist. The artist knows every curve, every stroke, every tiny detail in the creation of each piece. Each creation puts a personal intimate part of that artist on display for the whole world to see" Archives
