Looking Back to Stay on TrackMy show at the Rose Festival did a bit of a number on me. The turn out and the work involved was a big disappointment. I know deep down that some things are out of my control, but I couldn't help to take it personally. I've come too far to give into this sudden overwhelming wash of negative attitude! I decided to take a trip down memory lane. I looked through old pictures of my art throughout the years. I've painted, airbrushed, graphic designed, sketched among a lot of other mediums. It actually made me feel good! It got my creative juices flowing once again! I thought I would start sharing some of my work in my blog. Here is a painting I done in 2006. Now I know the exact date because back then you were still using film!!! I had taken a photo, with a bad camera, of a photo, taken with an even worse camera, then it was loaded onto the computer and forgotten about till now! The photo is horrible to say the least. Or am I trying to defend the terrible colours in the painting? This is the "Creaton of Adam" Acrylic on canvas 2 1/2 x 5. And the original by Michealangelo:
